You can already tell that his offseason work is progressing well, specifically in regards to his throwing mechanics. Trey had a tendency to have a bit of a bounce coming out of his hitch in videos clips shown pre-draft, which would translate into wasted motion.

Fast forward to now, Trey is already making huge strides in making his motion more efficient. I have confirmed with Trey's offseason QB trainer that this indeed the case. The goal is to get Trey throwing on rhythm - allowing him to throw much quicker and with more efficient motions.

Removing this "bounce" appears to already be streamlining his throwing motion that was already pretty to begin with.

If you look back at previous pre-draft clips of him preparing for the draft like the one below, you will be able to identify the correction.

You can see that he rises out of his hitch. Now, they have focused on removing that additional motion and reducing the time it takes to prepare his throwing motion. Going from having a bounce out of his play-action motion to flat.

This is a great development as it will cut down crucial time off his throwing motion and allow him to deliver the ball quicker to his receivers.

This is an exciting development for 49ers fans as Trey Lance is showing signs of getting better in real time.

It may be time for Jimmy Garoppolo to break his social media silence and begin his own hype tour that the rookie is already mastering.

In today's age, people have a tendency to root for what they can see and right now, they see Trey Lance.
